Pearl Clarkin is a rising star in Nashville! She has already been named one of the top unsigned artists in the country by CMT. In 2009 she placed in their Music City Madness singer/songwriter contest.
In the industry and music competition world Pearl is considered a triple threat. She sings with an ethereal voice that has been called "enchanting" "angelic" and yet "sultry". While Pearl would never be considered a fierce competitor... she wins with ease.
Pearl has been writing since the age of 12 when she wrote her first song with Macy Gray at an American Idol camp. She sucessfully entered the singer/songwriter world at the age of 14 when she moved to Nashville to persue her craft. She sings regularly in and around Music City with performers twice her age and more than holds her own in a crowd. Pearl has already produced her first video, Even Though I Want To, and has shown CMT and the labels just how well she can perform in front of and behind the camera.
